GST Integrated Universities Admission Circular for the academic session of 2020-21 is published on gstadmission.net. A total of 23 Public Universities is participating in the combined admission test.

Unit A – Science Applicants who have passed the HSC/equivalent exam must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams (including the fourth subject), with a total GPA of 7.00. Science branches from the general education board, along with vocational (HSC) and madrasa board (science) are considered for the science stream.

Unit B – Humanities Applicants who have passed the HSC/equivalent exam must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams (including the fourth subject), with a total GPA of 6.00. The general education board’s humanities branch, along with music, home economics, and madrasa board (general, mujabbid) are considered for the humanities stream.

Unit C – Business Studies Applicants who have passed the HSC/equivalent exam must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in both the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams (including the fourth subject), with a total GPA of 6.50. Commerce branches from the general education board, along with Diploma in Business Studies, Business Management (HSC), and Diploma in Commerce are considered for the business stream.

Students completed the higher secondary level examination in the year of 2019 or 2020 can fill up the application for 20 public universities admission test. That said, second timer candidates is now able to sit for the admission test.

Admission Test

Students who passed the SSC/equivalent in 2020 and 2021 and the HSC/equivalent in 2022 and 2023 are eligible to apply for the preliminary online application for the admission test. Different eligibility criteria have been set for different departments.

Distribution of Marks for the Examination

The admission test is conducted through a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format with a total of 100 marks. The distribution of marks for the admission test according to department and subject is as follows:

Science Stream (Unit A) Subjects and Marks Distribution:
Compulsory Subjects: Physics (25), Chemistry (25) – Total 50 marks.
Mathematics or Biology must be chosen, with the alternative being Bangla or English: Mathematics (25), Biology (25), Bangla (25), English (25) – Total 50 marks.

Humanities Stream (Unit B) Subjects and Marks Distribution:
Bangla (35), English (35), General Knowledge (30) – Total 100 marks.

Business Stream (Unit C) Subjects and Marks Distribution:
Accounting (35), Business Organization and Management (35), Bangla (15), English (15) – Total 100 marks.

The admission committee will hold the separate admission test for science, business studies and humanities group. They will use the all integrated universities campus to take the admission test. Students will fin the exam center on the admit card.
